Discipleship:
We believe that being a Christian is more than just a statement. The Christian life is more than just a moment or a one time decision; it is a life long journey in which we are continually striving to transform ourselves and the world around us into what God intended it to be. We believe that we are always learning and growing and have many different ministries to assist us in that task.

Fellowship:
Everyone needs people they can rely on; we were not created to do life alone. No matter how strong any one of us is, there are times in every person's life in which they need the love and support of others around them. We realize that different people need different kinds of community. Though we view ourselves as a united body of Christ we also provide opportunities for the different people within our community to find a group of people in which they can develop more intimate relationships.

Mentoring and Support:
Wisdom sometimes only comes through experience. As a Christian community it is our responsibility to share with each other the wisdom learned from both the good and bad times in our lives. Often, when life is hard, we feel like we are the only person on earth who is going through what we're going through. This feeling of loneliness can be crippling. Finding a person to share our experience with who has either gone through, or is currently dealing with, the same kind of thing can completely change a person's outlook on a situation and provide hope.

Hillside in the Community:
Living a Christian life includes caring for those around us. We believe that Jesus commanded the church to take care of its members as well as those outside of the church. We strive to fulfill this call by serving within our church and local communities as well as caring for the poor and the oppressed in global community.
