At baptism, we celebrate God's covenant promises to our children. It is a beautiful, visible reminder that God loves our children. They are precious to Him and He has a plan for their lives.
It is the goal of our children's programs here at Hillside Community Church to partner with you to share the good news of Jesus Christ with your children. At baptism, God reminds us of His promise to us, but we also make a covenant with one another. At each baptism, we promise as a community of believers to receive each child in love, to pray for him/her, and to help care for his/her instruction in the faith.
What does that look like in Hillside Kids? How is our covenant commitment lived out in tangible ways?
In our Precious Pebbles programs (ages birth-2 years), it is the volunteers who come to hold babies, change diapers, play with toddlers, and sing songs with Two Year Olds. In Stepping Stones (ages 3-Kindergarten), it is teachers and helpers who come each Sunday to share Bible stories in ways that engage and encourage our young ones. In Kids ROCK (grades 1-5), it is the faithful volunteers who lead small groups, teach large group lessons, lead songs with the praise team, and work with technology to present God's Word in powerful and creative ways!

At Hillside, we are committed to caring for kids and partnering with families to raise kids for Christ.
