CARE CIRCLES are a gathering of 4-12 people which meets regularly (usually twice a month) for the purpose of experiencing God's GRACE:
G rowing as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
R elating to one another as God's children who are tranformed by the Holy Spirit
A ccounting to each other with gentleness and honesty our responsibility to reflect the love of God in all we do
C ontributing the gifts given to us by the Holy Spirit to build up each other and the church
E ncouraging each other through prayer and support for proclaiming the good news of salvation to our community and the world
The Care Circle is led by a trained leader who receives ongoing support and encouragement for their ministry from the Equipping Team.
The Care Circle functions according to a covenant or agreed upon set of expectations and promises that the group members make to each other.
Care Circle members are not expected to have a lot of Biblical knowledge in order to participate.
Who would benefit from participation in a Care Circle?
Anyone who desires to:
Learn more about God
Grow in their Christian faith
Develop a closer fellowship with other people
Give and receive care during life's ups and downs
Pray and worship God in a small group environment
Discover and develop their gifts and special talents for ministry
Reach out to others in practical ways with the love of Jesus
When and where do Care Circles meet?
Care Circles arrange their own meeting times, schedules, and locations. It is suggested that the group meets at least twice a month; however, some groups meet every week and some once per month.
How long does Care Circle membership last?
Each member is asked to commit to a six month period of time. Life circumstances do change and it is recognized that not every person can keep this commitment. Usually, Care Circles meet throughout the year with an abbreviated summer schedule.
