KIDS HOPE USA
This ministry connects Hillside members in mentoring relationships with kids from Townline Elementary School (part of the Kentwood school system).
God Questions is for everyone who wants to explore life's big questions. Everyone has a big question, and God Questions invites you to ask explore with us your question. All across the globe over 20 mil people experienced God Questions in churches, bars, coffee shops, offices and homes. A typical God Question night at Hillside includes dinner, a time of singing, a short talk about the Christian faith, and a time to share your thoughts. There is no pressure and no charge. Bring a friend as you join us!

Hillside Church has an indoor hitting facility with ten hitting bays that are open to the community and to the high school golf teams during the winter. On every Monday night in February we offer a Golf Clinic led by a team of Golf Pros coming from three golf courses in our area: StoneWater Country Club, Railside Country Club, and The Pines Golf Course. The Golf Clinic is open for all ages and genders.
MEN'S GOLF LEAGUE
During the golfing season StoneWater Country Club partners with Hillside Community Church in a Golf League, meeting on Monday nights at StoneWater Country Club.
TOWNLINE BIBLE CLUB
This is a Bible Club for kids that is help each Tuesday afternoon during the school year. This ministry is focused on children who would otherwise have no other way to learn about the love of God.

The Pantry has made a significant commitment to feeding the hungry! For more than 20 years they have operated a community food pantry. We at Hillside participate with a food drive for The Pantry on the 2nd Sunday of every month. For more info click here.
Celebrating the activity of God in our midst, the mission of Access of West Michigan is to be a faith-based leader in linking congregational, individual, and community resources to eliminate hunger and reduce the impact of poverty in Kent County. We at Hillside partner with ACCESS through offerings and supporting ACCESS activities such as their annual food drive. For more info click here.

Katherine serves with the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO), a campus ministry organization based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She partners with Christ Community Church of the South Hills to reach out to college students on the campus of Point Park University. Rev. Chan Thleng is a pastor at the Christian Reformed Church in Myanmar (this country was formerly known as Burma). While Chan was attending seminary in Grand Rapids, Hillside was his home church and we have continued to partner with him as he has returned to Myanmar to develop and train other pastors while he leads the church. Thad is another one of our missionaries who grew up at Hillside. He is currently working with Dr. John Perkins in Jackson, Mississippi. Win Gritter is a missionary for Christian Reformed World Missions who has served in many places around the world—Taiwan, Mexico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Grand Rapids and many other places. Win partners with churches in developing their Christian Education programs and also teaches church leaders and pastors as she travels. Win is a member of Hillside and has recently led mission teams from Hillside to Cuba both to teach music and English as a second language. JOHN & ELAINE DE JAGER
John and Elaine DeJager are also Hillside members who have spent a lifetime in Christian ministry. In 2004, John and Elaine founded Partners In Learning Across Cultures, a ministry that aims to place High School students from around the world in high achieving Christian learning environments, preparing them for post-high school education careers and/or vocations. They work with students from South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam and Brazil, and are continuing to expand their services.
