Hillside believes that the Good News of Jesus Christ is not something that should be kept to ourselves. We have decided to partner with both local and global organizations to help spread the message of the Gospel across the world.
Streams of Hope
Streams of Hope is a community development agency intended to meet the growing needs of the urban Townline area. The neighborhood immediately surrounding the elementary school at the intersection of Division Avenue and 60th Street is faced with many economic, relational, social, and spiritual needs. Hillside Church has been active in this community for several years.
Hillside launched Steams of Hope as a means of serving our neighbors in very practical ways with long-term development activities. Many people who live, work, or worship in the Townline area are dedicated to building better community, but they need additional help to be successful. We are confident that God intends for Hillside to have a significant role in building His kingdom at Townline, and Streams of Hope is one channel available to accomplish this.
Streams of Hope's mission is to demonstrate God's love and foster sustainable change through services that build relationships, meet family needs, and promote a healthier community.

The Christian Reformed Church of Myanmar operates the Reformed Theological
College of Myanmar. Six students completed their courses of studies at the
college in February. The Synod of the Christian Reformed Church of Myanmar
oversees the ministry of the churches at an annual conference each year.
The denomination is working to provide a prayer center in honor of Chan's
wife, Hannie. It also supports a medical clinic and orphanage in the local
area in the mountains. The local churches engage in agricultural projects,
helping to move the church toward self sustainability.
